It's not an authentic Argentine place but what matters most is the meat. And they got it right. Cooked to perfection. We order picanha and asado de tira. Both were amazing. It comes with two sides, we picked salad and yucca frita. Good service. Prices reasonable for a steakhouse. I'll be back. Located in the beautiful city of Falls Church has easy parking. It's a 20 minutes drive from DC.
Very tasty food at a reasonable price! The service was excellent. I'm surprised that this place wasn't crowded. Worth checking out.
Little whole in the wall, but great food, portions are huge, and fantastic customer service!
Delicious family style restaurant with large portions and deliciously seasoned dishes. This is an Argentinian steak house and we had chicken and steak and both were juicy, seasoned nicely without being overpowering. The meats were hot and juicy. We asked for a side of jalapeños and they brought us an entire plate of jalapeños. Wasn't a problem for us to scarf down along with the chips and guacamole. The margarita was refreshing. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive. Someone was coming by our table. Every couple 5 minutes or so and it appeared that the servers worked will together to ensure that we had a lovely experience. Be sure that you arrive hungry. The portions are generous. The ambiance is simple. Not fancy. It's a restaurant for all occasions.

We were craving Argentinian food and showed up at this mouthwatering Argentine Cuisine, including an Authentic Parrillada Argentina restaurant for the first time. Let me explain how first off it was packed, but you can see everyone enjoying whatever dish was served on their table. I must admit, we stared at almost everyones plate bc we wanted to really enjoy ourselves with the best choice of grilled meats. The majority had the special Parrillada Argentina - which consisted of a grill platter with a variety of meats, including two short ribs, two flank steaks, two pieces of a New York strip, two sausages, a tasting of sweet breads, black pudding, and some small intestines. This platter feeds two really hungry adults or up to five people, and is perfect for sharing. But we preferred to get extra sausages over (small intestines ). ***Make sure you use their chimichurri steak sauce, it's a savory-delicious banger*** Our waitress Sofia was very patient, courteous and helpful. She actually gave us awesome recommendations. The ambience was mostly Hispanic/Latino, but this place should be for every meat lover in the DMV. Like seriously! It's very family oriented and their portions of servings are huge. Price is average to above average, but worth every penny. We recommend this place for all meat lovers!
Sometime in September, my husband discovered the existence of the Tomahawk steak. And for the next three months ensued an obsession that included Google searches of Tomahawk images and TikTok videos of people dining on the massive piece of meat. So naturally, with his birthday approaching in November, I made it my duty to research local restaurants that served it and give him an unforgettable birthday dinner. Not a small feat: restaurants that serve Tomahawk either limit it to a particular day of the week or are priced at over $100. And then there was the space - these were mostly white-tablecloth restaurants when what we needed was a casual and family-friendly space that could accommodate a party of 8 adults and 5 kids, and the noise level that came with it. White tablecloth optional. Three weeks and several phone calls later, I found all my criteria met in El Estancia Churrasqueria...and the wait was well worth all the effort. On the big day, after hugs and kisses were exchanged by everyone, the birthday celebration kicked off with fried calamari fries and the most decadent beef tongue I've ever had (Lengua a La Vinagreta) for the table. And then came the main dishes: on my end of the table, the Whole Red Snapper (Pescado a la Parrilla) for me, the Parrillada De La Casa for my parents, chicken fingers and mashed potatoes for my little girl, and the guest of honor - one sizzling Tomahawk Steak - for the birthday boy. The fried red snapper is a great option for those wanting something other than red meat. The Parrillada De La Casa - an array of steaks, ribs, blood sausages, and intestines - was to die for. My husband had a permanent grin on his face thanks to a melt-in-your-mouth Tomahawk. Hell, even my little girl's mashed potatoes tasted out of this world. Everything was made with such precision and care that by the end, we could have all given the chef a slow clap standing ovation. Dinner ended with birthday cake from one of my favorite bakeries, which the restaurant kindly allowed us to bring and even store in their kitchen while we ate - an amazing gesture in pandemic times. The service we received from our wonderful waiter was also the best I've seen in some time. Attentive, warm, and professional - everything you'd want in table service. All waitstaff were properly masked and tables placed at a respectable distance from each another, giving us a sense of security that was really appreciated. All in all, La Estancia an amazing dining experience that left us all wanting more. Don't let the exterior fool you - La Estancia is an excellent family steakhouse with amazing food and top-notch service. Don't sleep in this one.
